Her career journey has taken her through some of the most prestigious firms in the industry. Her diverse background has equipped her with the expertise to manage complex bookkeeping jobs, while ensuring compliance with stringent regulatory standards, to deliver accurate, insightful financial reporting.
During her tenure in public accounting she led audit teams in executing thorough procedures for both private companies and 401(k) benefit plans, ensuring adherence to generally accepted auditing standards and accounting principles. Her roles involved not only managing the audit process but also drafting and preparing financial statements, and maintaining open, effective communication with cross-functional client teams to deliver results efficiently.
She is specialized in industries such as telecommunications, trucking, manufacturing, oil and gas, aerospace & defense and energy. Her ability to navigate these different sectors speaks to her adaptability and comprehensive understanding of industry-specific financial practices.
Her experience extends beyond external audits. During her internal audit role she was responsible for designing SOX 404 deliverables, leading quarterly compliance meetings, and training senior management on SOX 404 compliance. Her work was instrumental in enhancing the company’s internal controls and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
